3. Consumers and businesses
We sell to both consumers and business customers.
A consumer is generally an individual acting wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
A business customer purchases wholly or mainly for business purposes.
Some terms apply differently to business customers where legally appropriate.
A company name is not required for a consumer to purchase from our website.
Entering a company name does not by itself determine whether a purchaser is legally a business customer.
4. Orders
Customers are responsible for checking their order before submitting it.
This includes checking:
-
designs;
-
artwork;
-
dimensions;
-
quantity;
-
backgrounds;
-
image quality;
-
design placement;
-
Gang Sheet layout;
-
delivery address; and
-
other order instructions.
Orders may enter production quickly.
5. How our pricing works
DTF products may be priced using different methods depending on the product selected.
Individual-design pricing
Where customers upload individual designs, the price may be calculated according to factors including:
-
the number of designs;
-
the dimensions of each design;
-
the print area occupied by the designs; and
-
the pricing rules displayed by the relevant product or calculator.
The calculated price is displayed before the customer completes the order.
Gang Sheet pricing
Customers may alternatively purchase DTF printing using a Gang Sheet.
Our standard Gang Sheet production width is approximately:
22 inches / 56 cm.
Gang Sheet pricing may be calculated according to the selected linear length of the sheet.
The price per linear metre or other applicable increment is shown on the relevant product page or Gang Sheet Builder.
There is no universal fixed Gang Sheet length under these Terms unless the relevant product page specifies a particular minimum, increment or maximum.
6. VAT and trade pricing
Pinery DTF London supplies consumers and businesses.
Where a product is publicly available to both, we may display:
-
the VAT-inclusive total price; and
-
a VAT-exclusive trade price.
Where required for consumer-facing pricing, the VAT-inclusive price will be displayed with appropriate prominence.
For example:
£12.00 incl. VAT
Trade price: £10.00 ex. VAT
VAT is charged where applicable.
Business customers are still charged VAT where the relevant supply is taxable, even where the trade price is expressed excluding VAT.
7. Payment
Payment methods may include:
-
Shopify Payments;
-
Visa;
-
Mastercard;
-
PayPal; and
-
other Shopify-supported payment methods.
Orders are normally payable in full when placed unless separate business terms have been expressly agreed.
8. Pricing errors
We take reasonable care to display correct prices and calculations.
If an obvious pricing or technical calculation error occurs, we may contact you before production.
Where a clearly erroneous price has been generated and it would be unreasonable to require us to fulfil the order at that price, we may cancel and refund the affected order, subject to applicable law.
9. Custom manufacture
DTF products are generally manufactured specifically from customer-selected artwork, dimensions, quantities and layouts.
Where a product is genuinely made to customer specifications or clearly personalised, statutory change-of-mind cancellation rights may not apply.
We normally offer an additional one-hour cancellation or amendment period where production has not already progressed beyond the point where a change can reasonably be made.
10. Artwork requirements
Accepted formats may include:
-
PNG;
-
PDF;
-
SVG; and
-
TIFF.
For raster artwork, we recommend at least 300 DPI at the intended print dimensions.
Transparent backgrounds are recommended where appropriate.
The customer remains responsible for checking the production file before placing the order.
11. Artwork dimensions
We do not routinely manually resize customer artwork.
Customers are responsible for entering or selecting the required production dimensions.
Where dimensions are displayed by the website or Gang Sheet Builder, customers should verify them before completing their purchase.
12. Artwork quality checks
Where we identify an obvious problem that may prevent reasonable production, we may contact the customer.
If customer input is necessary and we do not receive a response within a reasonable period, we may:
-
place the order on hold;
-
delay production; or
-
cancel and refund the affected order.
13. Gang Sheet Builder
Our website may provide an integrated Gang Sheet Builder that enables customers to:
-
upload artwork;
-
position designs;
-
duplicate designs;
-
arrange designs;
-
configure a Gang Sheet;
-
calculate pricing; and
-
use available artwork-processing functions.
The customer is responsible for reviewing the final Gang Sheet layout before ordering.
We are not responsible for an unwanted layout, spacing, duplicate, missing design or unused space where the final configuration accurately reflects the layout submitted by the customer.
14. AI background removal and enhancement
The Gang Sheet Builder may offer automated or AI-assisted functions such as:
-
background removal;
-
image enhancement;
-
sharpening;
-
resolution enhancement; or
-
other automated image preparation.
These tools are provided for convenience.
They do not guarantee professional-quality results.
Automated processing may alter:
-
edges;
-
fine details;
-
backgrounds;
-
transparency;
-
colour;
-
image texture; or
-
other elements.
Customers must review the resulting file or preview before ordering.
Where a customer approves and submits an AI-processed result, issues visible in the approved artwork will not normally constitute printing faults.
15. Print colours
Colours displayed on screens can differ from printed colours.
Factors affecting appearance may include:
-
monitor settings;
-
RGB/CMYK conversion;
-
colour profiles;
-
ink;
-
transfer film;
-
white underbase;
-
garment colour; and
-
the material onto which the transfer is applied.
An exact screen-to-print colour match is not guaranteed.
16. Special colours
Fluorescent, neon, metallic or other unusually bright digital colours may not reproduce exactly as displayed electronically.
Unless a specific special-colour printing service is expressly advertised, customers should not assume that screen-based fluorescent, metallic or neon effects can be reproduced exactly through standard DTF inks.
17. Production tolerances
Reasonable DTF manufacturing tolerances may include:
-
slight size variation;
-
minor cutting or film-border variation;
-
very small edge differences;
-
slight variation in the white underbase;
-
slight colour variation; and
-
other minor differences inherent in physical print production.
Reasonable manufacturing variation does not automatically constitute a defect.
18. Intellectual property supplied by customers
By uploading artwork, logos, graphics, photographs, trademarks or other materials, you confirm that:
-
you own the relevant rights; or
-
you have sufficient permission to reproduce them.
You must not use our service to unlawfully reproduce intellectual property belonging to another person.
We may refuse, suspend or cancel an order where we reasonably believe that the supplied material:
-
infringes intellectual property rights;
-
is unlawful;
-
is fraudulent;
-
is threatening;
-
contains unlawful hateful content; or
-
otherwise creates a legitimate legal or operational risk.
19. Licence to produce customer artwork
By submitting artwork, you grant Pinery London Ltd the limited rights reasonably required to:
-
process the artwork;
-
reproduce it;
-
prepare it for printing;
-
manufacture the requested transfers;
-
store it for order administration; and
-
provide related customer support.
Ownership of customer-supplied artwork is not transferred to us merely because it is uploaded.
20. Artwork created by Pinery
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, original artwork or design work created independently by Pinery DTF London remains the intellectual property of Pinery London Ltd.
Design work may be charged separately where applicable.
21. Portfolio and marketing use
We may display examples of completed DTF work for:
-
portfolio;
-
website;
-
social media;
-
product showcase; or
-
marketing purposes,
where appropriate and subject to reasonable privacy and intellectual-property considerations.
If you do not want your completed order displayed, please contact us.
22. DTF application instructions
Our general recommended heat-press settings are:
135°C–150°C
Medium pressure
Approximately 10 seconds initial press
Hot or cold peel, depending on application conditions
Approximately 10 seconds second press
These are general recommendations rather than a guarantee for every fabric and heat press.
Customers must ensure that their equipment and receiving material are suitable.
23. Washing
Wait at least 24 hours after application before washing.
For best results:
-
wash inside out;
-
use appropriate low-temperature washing;
-
avoid ironing directly over the design; and
-
follow the care instructions of the receiving garment.
We do not guarantee a particular number of wash cycles.
24. Customer application responsibility
DTF transfers are supplied as ready-to-apply transfer products.
Unless we expressly provide the application service, the customer is responsible for the final pressing process.
Damage caused by unsuitable material or incorrect:
-
temperature;
-
pressure;
-
time;
-
peeling;
-
washing;
-
drying; or
-
application
is not a manufacturing defect.
25. Same-Day DTF service
Eligible Same-Day DTF orders received before 12:00 noon UK time on a business day are intended to be produced and dispatched that day.
Collection may also be available after production.
Same-day production requires:
-
successful payment;
-
print-ready artwork;
-
complete dimensions and quantities;
-
correct order configuration; and
-
no unresolved customer query.
Artwork problems or customer delays may prevent same-day production.
Same-day dispatch does not guarantee same-day delivery.
26. Shipping
Our Shipping Policy forms part of these Terms.
Delivery times are estimates unless a particular delivery service is expressly confirmed as guaranteed.
27. Collection
Eligible orders may be collected free of charge from our premises once the customer has been notified that production is complete.
Customers should not travel to collect before receiving confirmation.
28. Returns and refunds
Our Return and Refund Policy forms part of these Terms.
Custom-made DTF products cannot normally be returned because of a change of mind where the relevant statutory custom-made/personalised goods exception applies.
This does not affect statutory rights where goods are faulty, incorrectly manufactured or not as described.
29. B2B and wholesale orders
Trade, bulk and wholesale DTF pricing may be available.
Any quantity thresholds, pricing arrangements, discounts or other business terms will be those displayed on the website, quotation, invoice or separate agreement.
Unless separate credit arrangements have been expressly approved, orders are payable before production.
30. Business cancellations
B2B custom DTF orders may enter production quickly.
Unless otherwise agreed, an order cannot normally be cancelled once production has begun.
Any separate written quotation or commercial agreement may contain additional B2B terms.
31. Dropshipping
Pinery DTF London does not currently provide a general dropshipping service through pinerydtf.com.
32. Customer accounts
Customers may create Shopify customer accounts where available.
Customers are responsible for protecting their account credentials.
We may restrict an account where reasonably necessary because of:
-

-
security concerns;
-
payment abuse;
-
unlawful use; or
-
serious misuse of our website.
